Designer jeans are set to debut in 2019 with skull designs inspired by the designer’s own skull tattoo designs.
The new jeans are due to be unveiled at the Paris Fashion Week event on May 26.
They are being designed by designer and designer jeans editor-in-chief James McQuaid, who has been designing for designer jeans since 2009.
“I wanted to make sure the jeans were in a modern, cutting-edge, and playful way, with the skull motifs of the design,” he said.
“The design was based on my own experience of tattooing the skulls of friends.”
There’s a sense of wonder and wonderment in designing something so intricate, so personal, with such a distinctive and special impact on the wearer.
“The design of the jeans has been influenced by McQuaes personal life.”
When I was a teenager, I had a tattoo on my neck, and I got a tattoo for my sister’s birthday,” he recalled.”
My sister got it from my cousin, who was a famous tattoo artist.
“Then she got it on my mum, and my cousin got it in my mum’s bedroom.”
So it was an idea to make something really personal, which was why I wanted to work with a designer.
“But I think it’s important to realise that the designs are meant to be worn, so they need to be well-fitting, comfortable, and comfortable to wear.”
“You can wear a pair of jeans that are very casual, but also have a design that is really bold and exciting.”
The designer jeans will feature a new skull design on the back, which he said was inspired by his own tattoo designs and the artist’s own personal history.
“This skull design is the result of working with some tattoo artists,” he explained.
“It was a very personal experience.”
To have a tattoo in my head, which is what my mum got when she got me my tattoo, is a really personal thing, and it’s an experience that you can’t replicate.
“A lot of people get tattoos, and they’re not as good as you want them to be, but they are there, and that’s part of what I like about my tattoos.”
For the design, I’ve done a lot of work with the artists, so I’ve got the skills and knowledge to do the best I can.
We’re really excited to unveil this new line of designer jeans in 2019,” McQuae said.
